This collection of Hymns reveals the inspiration that the first millennium of Christianity had on the nineteenth century. Translations, or more accurately interpretations, of Greek and Latin hymns into English enriched the worship of the church, bringing her back to her roots. As an Orthodox Christian of English and Welsh heritage, I hope to bring these hymns with us on our journey into the next millennium of the Church via the internet. It is also a bridge between the Western and Eastern Rites of Orthodoxy.
